Inji, DO have a question, Any ideas of getting indian variety banana plantain sapling or rhizome online?? We live in a place where there is snowy winter and good summer and i want to grow them in pot, so that i can bring them indoors, any clues? and what is the indian variety banana plantains called?

I guess everyone guessed it..my guess also goes for turmeric....btw, I didn't find any probs so far with the rice ada packet- and I don't see any other brands too and left with no option and just buy these ones...will try thoran with asparagus-just getting to know abt asparagus lately- will explore more- he he

Karthi dear, Acutally even in Florida I havent seen Indian variety banana saplings. We all get from here there amongst us Malayalees. I can send you one from my garden If I can charge you for the courier?
