All these flowers are from my garden trumpeting the arrival of Spring.
One of them will turn into a vegetable we all love to eat and love to put in lot of our favourite curries. It has a hard outer skin and soft flesh inside.
Guess which vegetable? It is a vegetable, not a seed.(My digital camera is a sorry version since I got it free from Bellsouth for ordering their DSL, so pardon my pics, but I hope the pics are clear enough for you to guess)

reshma: You can grow mullappo even in freezing Chicago.
Plant it in a pot so you can transfer it to a window inside from Sep to April.
luv2cook: Thank you. I love gardening so much.

kitchenmate:Thankyou.I live in Zone 10 so there is no frost and you can plant everything outside.Yes, I used to take my curry leaf and other plants inside when I was living in Zone 7. Even a small frezy wind will kill them. So from Sep to April I used to take them inside.
santhi: Thank you so much.
krishnarjuna: Sorry,my pictures were no that clear,I guess.
gini: I dont know whether they will in pot. But I have seen mango trees in giant pots bearing fruit. So I am sure it will be the same. Maybe a 20 inch pot?
