Hi Inji Pennu, I came to your blog from Saffron Hut's blog. I am in love with her blog. I am new to the world of blogging but I must say she has done such a wonderful job on her blog. She has not posted anything for a while now. Hope all is well with her. I love your blog as well and your other blog Gingerly also is a nice read.
did anyone ever try arati kaya vepudu with these baby bananas. We had a banana patch in our backyard and My grandma made it once. It was just excellent. The bananas were a little bigger than these in the pic. if anyone has access to these, try it. and Cherish :-))

Inji, might I venture to say Gherkin, also known as Tondli in the north and Dondakaya in Telugu?
No idea. Awaiting your answer.
They are small bananas developed from the little flowers. The end of the bananas will be there for sometime until they become dry and fall off.
Inji thanks for tips. No way I was not trying to get you in trouble!
Oh the game is over? I would have made a perfect guess. :D
